The Nigerian Bottling Co (NBC), a beverage firm that is the franchise bottler of Coca-Cola in Nigeria, has committed a 1 million euros ($1.1 million) donation to support impactful social programs across eight states in the country. The managing director of NBC announced this commitment during a visit by the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment. The $1.1 million pledge, marking the company's 70th anniversary, is directed towards community initiatives, focusing on empowering women and youth, championing water stewardship, and promoting environmental sustainability and efficient waste management.

The managing director emphasized NBC's ongoing commitment to investing in its Nigerian operations, expressing confidence in favorable business conditions to enhance capabilities and facilitate further investments. Over the past decade, the Coke system, with a substantial investment of $1.32 billion, has strengthened operational capacity, revolutionized supply chain infrastructure, and provided extensive training to the workforce.
