Nigerian food procurement platform Vendease has collected $30 million in a financing round.

Partech Africa and TLcom co-led the round with participation from previous backers, VentureSouq, Hustle fund, Hack VC, GFR Fund, Kube VC, Magic Fund and Kairos Angels.

Launched in January 2020, Vendease intends to use the fresh capital to deepen operations and consolidate its presence in eight cities across Nigeria and Ghana.

The startup, which raised a $3.2 million seed round last October, also plans to invest the funds in moving into new markets and building new products to increase customers’ efficiency.
