New York City-based eyewear brand Pair Eyewear has successfully raised an impressive $75M in its Series C funding round, pushing the total investment to a substantial $145M. Led by Prysm Capital and joined by existing investors like New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and Javelin Venture Partners, as well as NFL player Christian McCaffrey, this funding will be directed towards enhancing automation technology, expanding the U.S.-based lens lab to ensure top-quality lenses, and further diversifying the product line. Pair Eyewear's approach allows customers, both adults and children, to tailor the look of their eyeglasses with a vast selection of over 1,000 customizable frames, including licensed designs from renowned brands like Marvel, NBA, Harry Potter, and more, available in both prescription and non-prescription models.
