General Tyre and Rubber Co. of Pakistan Ltd (GTR), unit of German rival Continental AG, is expecting to infuse about $200 million to build a new manufacturing facility in India.
GTR will construct a manufacturing facility at Special Economic Zone, being established in Faisalabad, Punjab, under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The company said that it will create jobs and boost revenue hence ramping up the economy.
Moreso, GTR, which has $60.5 million in revenue, is also in discussions with the new entrants in the auto sector like Kia Motors, Renault, and Hyundai to meet future demands.
