Panama-based Selina, a hospitality startup, has collected $100 million in a Series C funding.

 Access Industries, with participation from Grupo Wiese and existing investors Colony Latam Partners led the round, which brought Selina's total funding raised to date to $225 million.

With the latest investment, Selina will commit in its technology innovation team in Tel Aviv, enhance the complete booking and user experience for travelers, and continue to expand into new markets across the globe.

More so, the startup plans to open more 35 properties in the U.S., UK, Germany, Portugal, Greece, Israel, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and also enter Asia by 2020.
