Brisa Concessão Rodoviária, S.A, a Portuguese motorways construction, maintenance, and operation company, will spend 74 million euros ($84.3 million) to upgrade motorways and build service areas in 2019.
With the investment, Brisa plans to infuse around $67.2 million in the conservation and improvement of the motorway roads.
Furthermore, the company will infuse another $17.1 million to boost the current number of its Colibri Via Verde service areas.
Brisa said that only 18 of the 93 toll rates, 19 percent in total, have been updated on most routes.
