Qatar Investment Authority plans to reach $45 bln in U.S. investments

Qatar Investment Authority, a sovereign wealth fund, announced that it plans to increase its commitments in the U.S. to $45 billion in the next two years.

Qatar Investment said that the move will help it balance its portfolio away from Europe.

In the U.S., the company is seeking fundamental sectors like real estate, technology or U.S. exchanges.

Currently, Qatar Investment has approximately $30 billion injected in the U.S.
