Indian education technology startup Byju’s is nearing to receive $200 to $250 million investment from Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), a sovereign wealth fund.

As part of the financing deal, Qatar Investment Authority will acquire a 5 percent stake in Byju’s.

The investment move comes at a time when Byju’s is seeking to accelerate its international expansion.

Additionally, Byju’s aims to make its learning app available in the U.S., UK, New Zealand, and Australia by the July to September quarter.
