USA, Chicago-based Responsiv has successfully raised $3 million in Seed funding, with Greylock leading the round and participation from OnDean, the family office of Andrew Sieja, the founder of Relativity, Permanent Capital Ventures, and Julius Genachowski. The company aims to use the funds to expand its operations and further develop its innovative AI assistant designed for in-house legal teams.

Co-founded by Nikita Solilov and Jordan Domash, Responsiv is dedicated to creating an AI assistant that provides in-house lawyers with answers to legal questions using natural language. This technology allows attorneys to describe what they are looking for using everyday language and receive specific answers supported by verifiable references. Responsiv compiles relevant statutes, cases, regulatory guidance, and legal analysis, generating comprehensive answers enriched with in-line references. Beyond answering questions, the platform can also create clauses, templates, or policies that align with the generated responses, streamlining the legal research process for in-house legal teams.
