Russian telecommunications provider Rostelecom and Finnish peer Nokia have established a new joint venture named RTC-network technologies.
RTC-network technologies will focus on forming a portfolio of innovative, technology infrastructural solutions built on Nokia's technologies in integration with domestic advanced developments.
Nokia has pledged to invest a total of 128 million euros ($150.6 million) to RTC-network technologies during the next three years, from 2019 to 2022.
The joint venture will become a competence center for implementing joint projects by leveraging the synergy of Nokia's expertise and portfolio of products and Rostelecom's experience in complex implementation of federal-scale projects, which will be supported by solutions developed in the joint venture.
