Singaporean investment firm GBCI Ventures has secured 136 million Singaporean dollar ($100 million) for its new development fund.

The investment came from corporate capital, family offices and high net worth individuals among others.

The new development fund will focus on technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence and virtual reality.

Further, the fund will invest in smart cities ecosystem by providing startups with both regional and global with support inform of technology access and go-to-market support, on top of fund injections.
