The funding was secured from a group of investors, including BlockBase Ventures, UI Investments, Australian Gulf Capital, BXB Capital, and angel investors. CrossFund plans to utilize these funds to expand its operations and extend its business reach further. Established in 2021 by Ben Cardarelli and Davide Cali, CrossFund operates as an active emerging market investor, employing AI in the vetting and fundraising process. The platform's use of AI allows for rapid matchmaking between investors and startups based on various parameters such as sector, stage, geography, and expertise, among others. The platform has seen substantial growth, with over $40M raised across 80 investments and an impressive portfolio that includes notable startups across different regions.
