USA, Washington Depot-based Slooh has raised nearly $5 million in funding to enhance its space education platform. The round, with participation from Connecticut Innovations, Michael Paolucci, and family offices dedicated to space education, will support Slooh's mission of providing live online telescope feeds of the universe and an NGSS-aligned curriculum for school communities. Led by Michael Paolucci, Slooh's recently launched next-generation online learning platform allows students to engage in gamified learning activities, create custom posters based on their discoveries, and participate in independent study programs focused on citizen science, science communications, and workforce development. The funding will be used to further develop the platform and expand Slooh's reach in space education.
