South Africa-based breakdown management startup Right Now Response (RNR) has secured 12 million rands ($640,000) in funding led by HAVAÍC, a venture capital firm. Founded in 2019, RNR provides on-demand breakdown management and analytics services, connecting truck fleet managers and vehicle original equipment manufacturers with certified mechanics and service facilities across Southern Africa. With a focus on reducing response times and completing 70 percent of repairs on-site, RNR leverages advanced technology to optimize service delivery. The funding will support RNR's expansion efforts, enabling the company to bolster its team and scale operations within Southern Africa and beyond, as it capitalizes on the increasing demand for its technology in the transport and logistics market.

HAVAÍC's investment in RNR underscores the startup's impressive growth trajectory, marked by an 87 percent increase in monthly breakdown volume managed and an 86 percent growth in income over the past twelve months. The partnership aims to further enhance RNR's capabilities and market reach, leveraging the startup's experienced team and extensive network to meet the evolving needs of its clients in Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
