Terafunding, a South Korean real estate-focused peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform, has raised $18 million in its Series B round of financing.

The startup received the latest funds from KB Investment, Hana Ventures, IBK Industrial Bank and Woomi Construction.

Terafunding intends to use the money raised from the round to acquire and hire talent from the real estate, finance, and information technology sectors as well as strengthen its risk management processes.

In January 2018, the startup had raised $9.3 million in its Series A round led by South Korean venture capital firm Atinum Investment.
