Sri Lanka-based solar energy provider JLanka Technologies’ Bahrain-based subsidiary JLanka International intends to commit up to $10 million into Bahrain’s renewable energy sector in the next five years.

JLanka has been authorized by the Sustainable Energy Unit to conduct an exclusive training project to educate and certify solar photovoltaic contractors and consultants.

In addition, the company will train Electricity and Water Authority personnel on grid connection standards.

Furthermore, JLanka has also been appointed as a lead consultant on a scheme to install solar photovoltaic systems on over 500 government-owned buildings including schools and hospitals.
