Swedish technical services company Eltel AB has entered into an agreement to build infrastructure in two wind farm projects, Saunamaa and Suolakangas, in Finland.

The company inked the 13 million euros ($14.6 million) deal with French wind power developer Valorem and UK onshore renewables investor Octopus, the partners behind the two farms totalling 71.4 megawatts.

Eltel, through its power business unit in Finland, will be in charge of the construction of roads, crane pads, turbine foundations, electrical cabling and substations.

As part of the deal, Valorem and Octopus will invest circa $90 million in the construction. The wind farms are planned to enter commercial operation by late 2020, with annual power output anticipated to be 280-gigawatt hours.
