Swedish gaming communities company MOBA Networks has acquired Wargraphs, a French startup known for its popular League of Legends companion application, Porofessor, in a deal worth up to 50 million euros ($54 million). Wargraphs has built analytics for multiple titles, but League of Legends has been its primary focus. The acquisition aims to expand Wargraphs' products across Asia and enhance analytics capabilities for additional games. Wargraphs, despite its small size, has achieved profitability with revenues of $13.3 million in the last fiscal year.

The acquisition of Wargraphs by MOBA Networks highlights a shift in the startup landscape, where consumer-focused companies can pursue alternate paths to success. It also reflects the growing significance of gaming within larger ecosystems of products and services.
