Nestlé, a Swiss food and beverage giant, has opened a new coffee factory for its Bonjorno brand in Egypt.

Nestlé has invested around 250 million Egyptian pounds ($13.9 million) into the new facility, which uses its manufacturing and innovation capabilities to produce products.

The new facility, which has the most advanced coffee making technologies, is expected to reach between 22,000 and 44,000 tons in the future.

Nestlé said that the new line reflects its strategy to invest in Egypt and fosters the development of the rapidly growing soluble coffee segment amongst Egyptians.
