Swiss food and drink company Nestle announced that it plans to infuse 121.81 million pounds ($154 million) next year to open a new coffee processing plant in Veracruz, Mexico.

The new processing plant is predicted to process 20,000 tonnes of coffee per year.

The facility is expected to create 250 jobs at first and 1,200 when it reaches full capacity.

In October, Nestle revealed its intention to inject $241.8 million into the expansion of its coffee factory in Timashevsk, in Russia's Krasnodar region.
