Swiss construction machine manufacturer Liebherr Group is planning to infuse to more than 200 million francs (approximately $200 million) investments in its development and production site at Bulle in the Swiss canton of Fribourg.

The developments at the site will enhance capacity expansion in the fields of diesel engines and fuel injection systems at Liebherr Machines Bulle SA, a Swiss engine-making unit of Liebherr Group.

The development and production of the fuel injection systems new factory will cover an area of 9,000 square meters with the modernisation of the service and logistics infrastructure with a new warehouse and logistics centre.

As part of the investment, Liebherr expects the expansion plan to include a training centre which will benefit all parts of the site and create new jobs in the area over the next six years.
