Taiwanese power cables and related equipment manufacturer Admiral Cable plans to commit $50 million in a manufacturing plant in Doña Ana County, New Mexico, the U.S.
The 65,000-square feet facility's size is expected to extend to 175,000 square feet in later stages.
The company will employ about to 342 people in the first of three stages of the project.
Operations at the manufacturing plant, Admiral's first in the U.S., are expected to start in early 2020.
