Telkom Indonesia to acquire $275 mln stake in tech startup Go-Jek

Telkom Indonesia, a telecommunications company, plans to acquire a stake in ride-hailing and logistics startup Go-Jek.

Telkom is expected to spend 4 trillion rupiahs ($275 million) to buy a minority stake in Go-Jek.

The plan comes as Telkom Indonesia is gathering pace to expand in South-east Asia, starting with Go-Viet in Vietnam and Get in Thailand.

Telkom is also seeking to move into the Philippines and Singapore.
