Germany, Berlin-based AgTech company, Tupu, has successfully raised $3.2 million in Seed funding. FoodLabs and Zubi Capital led the investment, with participation from Clear Current Capital, FoodHack, IT-Farm, CoastCap, as well as notable angel investors like Roger Hassan and Gil Horsky. Tupu's mission is to advance urban mushroom farming using a decentralized system that combines bioscience, robotics, and AI. Since launching its first farm in November of the previous year, Tupu has been delivering over three tons of fresh mushrooms each month to a diverse clientele that includes local wholesalers and Michelin-starred chefs. With this funding, Tupu plans to scale its production capacity to meet the demands of prominent players in the food service and retail sectors.
