Getir, a Turkish grocery items on-demand delivery services startup, has completed the acquisition of German peer Gorillas.
The $1.2 billion transaction is mostly comprised of equity, with around $40 million in cash being paid out to investors.
Moreso, the acquisition values the combined company at $10 billion.
The move will speed up growth in the new entity, enabling a faster provision of services to the clients in less than ten minutes.
