Turkish on-demand delivery services startup Getir is in advanced talks to purchase German peer Gorillas Technologies GmbH in a cash and equity deal.
Under the transaction, Gorillas will get $100 million in cash and stock worth 12 percent of the combined entity.
The acquisition of Gorillas is expected to enable Getir to scale in key European markets including the UK and Germany.
Moreso, the move, which values Gorillas at $2.1 billion, is anticipated to be complete by the end of next month.
