UAE-based mining geological research and survey company Fujairah Natural Resources Corp. (FNRC) has begun building a new three-stage factory in Habbab, Fujairah.
The new facility, which will cost about 550 million dirhams ($149.7 million), will produce clinker, a raw material used in the production of cement.
Fujairah Natural Resources said the new line will operate in line with the sustainability standards and reach all health and safety requirements.
The facility production will begin following the end of stage one of construction in December 2019.
