Dubai-based renewable energy company Alcazar Energy has finalized the building of its $69 million Alcazar Energy Egypt Solar 1 project at Benban Solar Park in Egypt.

The company’s 64-megawatt peak (MWp) facility is one of four it is developing at Benban under the Nubian Suns scheme.

Alcazar Energy Egypt Solar 1 (AEES1) is a photovoltaic project which makes up a quarter of the total 256 MWp capacity that the Nubian Suns scheme will produce.

The company said that over 2,000 direct and indirect jobs are expected to be created as it constructs the four solar projects..
