UK-based poultry breeding company Aviagen plans to invest over $28 million in building a poultry farm in the Nikolsky district of Russia's Penza region.

The project envisages building 10 facilities to produce turkey eggs on the territory of the Nikolsky district.

The investment form 2018 to 2019 will reach $28.1 million.

The deal was expected to pay off in nine years, and the last of the planned facilities were to be put into operation in the second half of 2019.
