UK’s BGF acquires $11.4 mln stake in Ireland’s Brindley Healthcare

UK-based investment firm BGF has bought 10 million euros ($11.4 million) stake in Irish nursing home company Brindley Healthcare.

With the investment, BGF acquired a 30 percent stake in Brindley.

Brindley Healthcare will use the net capital to finance its acquisitions and support expansion projects at its facilities, with a target of 1,000 beds by 2020.

Last year, Brindley secured a $28.5 million debt facility from Irish lender Ulster Bank.
