UK-based alcoholic beverages company Diageo announced plans to construct a new distilled spirits manufacturing facility in Kentucky with $130 million pump in.

The new facility will consist of a distillery, dry house, and warehousing in Lebanon, Marion County, with the capability to distil a variety of American whiskey brands.

The facility will enhance the growth in the bourbon and American whiskey categories and supplement Diageo’s other Kentucky operations.

Diageo revealed that the facility will create 30 new full-time jobs at the site. Last month, Diageo sold 19 brands to U.S.-based beverages firm Sazerac for $550 million.
