UK-based healthcare company DYSIS Medical Ltd. has received 18 million pounds ($25 million) investment from Lundbeckfonden Ventures.

The proceeds will be used to continue expansion in the U.S., UK, and other key territories, in addition to advancing strategic research and development programmes.

Dysis Medical said that the move will allow it to accelerate sales and the roll-out of its evergreen recurring revenue business model.

In April, the venture fund invested 4.5 million Danish kroner in The Society for Neuroscience for future development of brain research’s knowledge portal BrainFacts.org.
