UK self-drive road sweepers and pedestrian sweepers operator Go Plant Fleet Services, a unit of Essential Fleet Services Ltd., has bought 266 vehicles in a transaction worth over 13 million pounds ($16.7 million).
The vehicles, formerly owned by UK truck hire company Gulliver’s Truck Hire, include a combination of truck-mount and compact sweepers, refuse trucks and gritters.
Go Plant Fleet said that the purchase bolsters its contract hire and spot hire fleets, augments its status as a market leader and further advances its capacity to deliver an all-encompassing solution for specialist commercial vehicles.
The deal is expected to boost Go Plant Fleet Services’ turnover by $7.7 million, taking its overall revenue to $109.7 million.
