British real estate investment trust (REIT) company Intu Properties plc plans to commit 10 million pounds ($12.6 million) into its Merry Hill shopping center to provide a more accessible, sustainable and attractive retail experience for its consumers.
The scheme will include the main entrance refurbishment, as well as free wifi, large format screen installations and renovated car parks.
Renovation at the shopping mall, located in Brierley Hill, England, is expected to attract more retailers.
Following planning approval, work at the Merry Hill shopping center is expected to begin next month.
