London-based fund management company Iona Capital and investment firm Equitix have revealed the planned development of the 72 million pounds ($91.8 million) energy from waste facility in Bridgwater, Somerset.

The 7.7 megawatts MW Resource Recovery facility will process around 100,000 tonnes of commercial and municipal refuse-derived fuel.

The scheme will be delivered under a turnkey design and build contract with Italian engineering, procurement, and construction operator STC Power SRL.

Construction is forecasted to start in the first quarter of 2019 and the facility will start commercial operation in 2021.
