UK-based hotel chain operator Travelodge plans to invest 100 million pounds ($131.2 million) in new hotels located close to conference venues.
Travelodge is seeking ten sites near some of the UK’s exhibition and event centres, including the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow.
The investment is expected to create employment opportunities and boost local economies.
This expansion will offer more choice and greater value to delegates and event goers, whilst supporting the local economy.
