U.S. RH energytrans awards UK’s Wood $34 mln pipeline construction contract

U.S. energy company RH energytrans LLC has awarded UK energy services company Wood Group a $34 million contract to build 28 meters of a new pipeline designed to carry natural gas from Pennsylvania to Ohio.

Wood Group’s scope also includes the building of the North Kingsville meter station in Ashtabula County, Ohio.

The company said that the award reinforces its leading position in the North America market. Wood provided the initial technical, environmental consulting and engineering services on this project.

The pipeline project is underway and is anticipated to be finalized in Summer 2019.
