UK-based digital healthcare firm Lumeon announced that the company has completed a $28 million in funding round. 

Lumeon will use the net proceeds for its U.S. team expansion plans and Boston headquarters, scale commercial operations and accelerate customer deployments in the region.

With participation from Swiss venture capital firm MTIP and current investors Dutch investment firm Gilde, UK-based Amadeus Capital Partners and Luxembourg-based IPF Partners, the round was led by Life Sciences Partners, investing from the LSP Health Economics Fund 2.

Lumeon has raised a total of $48.6 million in funding over five rounds.
