UK plant nutrient producer Kropz secures $34.8 mln via share placing

UK plant nutrient producer Kropz Plc. has secured 27.3 million pounds ($34.8 million) via a share placing.

Kropz placed 68.4 million shares at $0.51 each, securing a market capitalization of $122.6 million.

The company plans to use the net proceeds to finish the advancement and commissioning of Kropz's flagship Elandsfontein phosphate project in South Africa.

Kropz will also use the funds for the development of the Hinda phosphate project in the Republic of Congo and to reduce debt.
