SMPnet, a UK electric power transmission, control, and distributor company, has raised $1.4 million in a financing round.
The latest equity financing round had backing from Marathon Venture Capital and some angel investors.
SMPnet will use the capital to bring its power grid technology to markets in the U.S. and Europe and speed up business development.
Moreso, the company will also use the cash to inject some energy into its marketing and business development efforts.
