London-based Elvie, a female technology company, has raised 58 million pounds ($80.5 million) in a Series C funding led by investment company BGF.

The round also secured support from funds and accounts managed by BlackRock Private Equity Partners, Hiro Capital and Westerly Winds, as well as previous backers, Octopus Ventures and IPGL.

Elvie will use the proceeds from the funding to further innovation and the development of new products and services for women.

Furthermore, the company also plans to use the fresh funds to continue expansion into new and existing markets, and strengthening operations and infrastructure.
