Impact Healthcare REIT, a UK healthcare real estate investment trust company, has agreed to purchase two care homes near Ipswich.
The assets included in the transaction are Baylham Care Centre, a 55-bed purpose-built care home, and Barham Care Centre, a 43-bed care home.
Impact Healthcare will acquire the properties for a total purchase price of 12.9 million pounds ($16 million).
With a projected initial rent of $1.1 million, the homes will be leased to residential dementia care homes operator Optima Care, which will be Impact Healthcare’s ninth tenant.
