UK's QinetiQ lands $92.6 mln DNVT deal with the U.S. Army

QinetiQ Group, a UK defence and security markets science and engineering company, has been awarded a $92.6 million contract by the U.S. Army.

As per the deal, the company has secured a single indefinite delivery indefinite quantity award for a digital night vision technology (DNVT) contract, running for over four years.

With the backing of QinetiQ, the U.S. Army will further evolve capabilities via DNVT through development, integration, and others including, but not limited to using digital imaging, display and others, to aid military operations.

In addition, the U.S. Army expects DNVT to better enable soldiers to view and understand the information in tactical environments allowing them to react and respond to real-time data.
