Octopus Healthcare, part of UK-based healthcare to technology company Octopus Group, has collected an additional 133.5 million pounds ($172.2 million) for its new fund, Octopus Healthcare Fund.

The investments came from new and existing institutional investors, bringing total funding raised to date to $413 million.

Octopus Healthcare Fund will buy six care homes let on long leases to Care UK, a health and social care company, for $141.9 million.

Octopus Healthcare Fund said that the assets are located in Banbury, Cheltenham, Horsham, Norwich, Ware and Witney.
