U.S.-based 3M, a mining and manufacturing company, plans to invest $60 million over the next five years.
The company is making the investment to boost its manufacturing capacity and advance the infrastructure at its operations in Greenville, South Carolina.
The commitment and extension were facilitated by discretionary incentives approved by the Greenville County Council to encourage 3M to continue to grow and invest in the community.
Annually, 3M generates approximately $32.8 billion in revenue.
