AC Energy Inc., the Filipino power generation facilities operator, intends to invest $1 billion in three projects with a combined capacity of 800 megawatts (MW) in three countries.

The renewable energy projects consist of a 350 MW solar project in Australia, a 400 MW to 500 MW wind facility in Vietnam and a 100 MW solar plant in the Philippines.

AC Energy, part of Ayala Corp., said that it will fund the projects using its green bonds totalling to $410 million.

The solar projects are expected to reach a financial close in the next 12 to 18 months across the three markets.
