Berlin-based Rasa, an open source conversational artificial intelligence platform, has bagged $13 million in Series A investment round.

Led by U.S. venture capital firm Accel Partners, the round also had participation from Basis Set Ventures and individual investors.

The investment round brings Rasa's total funding raised to date to $14 million.

The company expects to use the net proceeds to expand its team, accelerate further growth, for research and development, and also to shift its headquarters to San Francisco.
