U.S. investment trust Adams Diversified Equity Fund Inc. has purchased a stake in petroleum and natural gas exploration company EOG Resources Inc.

Adams Diversified Equity Fund purchased 106,400 shares of EOG Resources’ stock valued at around $13.5 million.

EOG Resources reported $1.75 earnings per share for the last quarter.

EOG Resources had revenue of $4.78 billion for the quarter.
