San Francisco-based Affinity, a relationship intelligence platform, has nabbed $26.5 million in Series B funding.

The company plans to use the capital to support its mission of developing a platform that structures the world’s communication data to harness the power of professional relationships.

Advance Venture Partners and Sway Ventures led the funding round with participation from MassMutual Ventures, Pear Ventures and angel backers including SuccessFactors.

To date, Affinity has secured a total of $40.5 million in funding.
