U.S. Anzu Partners, a venture capital and private equity firm, nears to complete its second fund with $150 million in capital commitments.

Anzu Partners noted that the second fund will invest in the U.S. and Canada-based private industrial technology companies that innovate in manufacturing, materials, monitoring, measurement and modeling.

Fund II will use the same strategy as the previous go-round by infusing a combined $30 million to $40 million per year in companies with industrial technology that has the potential to change the economics of the largest companies globally.

In March this year, Anzu held the first close of Fund II with over $110 million in capital commitments and seeks to make the final close of the fund in mid-2019.
